MetricFlow

Privacy Policy

MetricFlow collects nothing on a server. Here is exactly what lives in your browser and why.

1. The one-sentence summary

MetricFlow performs all computation locally in your browser and transmits no personal data anywhere — there is no server backend to receive it.

2. What is stored, and where

All workspace state is stored in your browser's localStorage under these keys:

  • mf.demo.state.v1 — your local workspace: selected plan, saved reports, alert rules, notification read-state, customers you added, integration toggles, and preference switches.
  • mf.demo.session — the sign-in session created when you log in with the demo account or stay “remembered”.

None of this is encrypted, synced, or shared. It never leaves the device and browser where you created it.

3. Passwords and payment data

  • The demo account's credentials ([email protected]) are published on the sign-in page; registration stores your chosen password in plain local browser storage. Never reuse a password from another service here.
  • Checkout never asks for card details, so no payment data is ever collected or stored.

4. Cookies and tracking

MetricFlow sets no cookies and includes no analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking scripts. The Cookie Policy documents this in detail.

5. Deleting your data

Three ways, all immediate:

  • The “Reset demo data” button in the workspace (clears workspace state).
  • “Clear remembered session” on the sign-in page (clears the session key).
  • Your browser's own “clear site data” for this origin (clears everything).

6. Children

MetricFlow is a professional product experience aimed at adult decision-makers; it is not directed at children and collects no age information of any kind.

7. Changes

If the service adds any server component or real data processing, this policy will be rewritten to describe it — with the change prominently disclosed on the site.
